I need money for college, so I work on small projects at my dad’s shop on weekends to earn a little extra cash. My dad lets me have any of his remnant stone pieces from jobs and I make small tables and sell them for a great price. I can have any granite remnants in my dad’s shop, so I do not add material costs to the price(even though I should). I know the economy is tough, so I only charge for abrasives, epoxy adhesive, and a fair labor cost. All my table surfaces are sealed so they clean easy and don’t stain.
